Tilstandsovervåkning og prediktivt vedlikehold (IAM540)

Emnet omhandler tilstandsovervåking og prediktivt vedlikehold av dynamiske maskiner og statisk mekanisk utstyr. Emnet gir prosjektgjennomføringsmodellen for å designe og styre tilstandsbasert vedlikehold og prediktivt vedlikeholdsprogrammer. Emnet gir de tekniske analysemetodene for å analysere industrielt utstyr og konstruksjoner, feilmodi, feil-symptomer og bestemme passende overvåkingsteknikker (vibrasjon, akustisk emisjon, ultralyd, smøreolje, termiske og prosessparametere) og nødvendige tekniske spesifikasjoner.

Innhold

Emnet setter sammen åtte moduler som følger:

Modul 1 handler om tilstandsbasert vedlikehold og standarden ISO 17359.

Modul 2 handler om de vanligste industrielle feilene som ubalanse, feiljustering, bøyd aksel, lagerdefekter, girfeil, strukturelle sprekker i rør og trykkbeholdere, og feil for on-demand utstyr.

Modul 3 handler om overvåkingsteknikker, det vil si vibrasjon, akustisk emisjon, ultralyd, oljerester, termiske og prosessparametere.

Modul 4 handler om ikke-destruktive testmetoder (NDT) som penetrant, flukslekkasje, virvelstrøm og radiografi.

Modul 5 handler om en generisk prosjektgjennomføringsmodell for å designe tilstandsovervåket og prediktivt vedlikeholdsklart utstyr, og overvåking av ingeniørmetoder: feilmodus- og symptomanalyse, diagnostisk dekningsanalyse og prediktiv vedlikeholdsanalyse.

Modul 6 handler om signalanalyse, tids- og frekvensdomenedeteksjon og diagnostikkanalyse

Modul 7 handler om modellbasert prognose og datadrevet prognose.

Modul 8 handler om foreskrivende vedlikehold og estimering av gjenværende brukstid (RUL) for potensielle foreskrivende scenarier.

Forelesninger, laboratorieeksperimenter, teamarbeid, muntlig presentasjon, prosjektledelse og kommunikasjon med interessenter i den virkelige verden og tilstandsovervåkingssamfunnet, er alle aktiviteter og ferdigheter innebygd i kursmodulene for å stillasere læringsytelsen. Læringen vurderes og forsterkes av flere oppgaver, laboratorieforsøk, muntlige presentasjoner og et kursprosjekt.

Læringsutbytte

Ved å gjennomføre dette emnet skal studentene tilegne seg følgende kunnskaper, ferdigheter og kompetanser:

Kunnskap

  • Få en omfattende forståelse av tilstandsovervåking (CM), tilstandsbasert vedlikehold (CBM) og prediktivt vedlikehold (PdM).
  • Få en omfattende forståelse av vanlige maskinfeil: årsaker, mekanismer, symptomer og modi.
  • Få en grunnleggende forståelse og teorier bak overvåkingsteknikkene, f.eks. vibrasjon, akustisk emisjon, ultralyd, oljerester, termiske og prosessparametere.
  • Få en grunnleggende forståelse og teorier bak signalanalyse (tids- og frekvensdomener), diagnose og prognoseanalyse.
  • Få en grunnleggende forståelse og teorier bak de ikke-destruktive testmetodene (NDT) som penetrant, flukslekkasje, virvelstrøm, radiografi.

Ferdigheter

  • Kunne bruke prosjektgjennomføringsmodellen til å designe overvåket og PdM-klart utstyr og levere konsept- og front-end engineering (FEED) studier.
  • Kunne utføre ingeniøranalysemetoder, f.eks. Feilmodusanalyse, symptomanalyse, sensordiagnostisk dekningsanalyse og PdM-konseptstudie.
  • Kunne utføre tids- og frekvensdomenesignalanalyse.
  • Kunne utføre diagnoseanalyse og bestemme feiltype, plassering og alvorlighetsgrad.
  • Kunne utføre prognoseanalyse (fysikkbasert og/eller datadrevet) for å forutsi gjenværende brukstid.

Generell kompetanse

  • kan analysere relevante akademiske, faglige og forskningsetiske problemer.
  • kan jobbe i team og planlegge og lede prosjekter.

Læringen vurderes gjennom fire oppgaver: teorioppgave 20%, Laboppgave 20%, Kursprosjektoppgave 30% og Refleksjonsoppgave 30%.

Alle oppgavene er individuelle.

Det tilbys ikke kontinuasjonsmuligheter på mappen. Studenter som ikke består, kan gjennomføre mappevurdering neste gang emnet ordinær undervisning.

Emneevaluering

Det skal være en tidligdialog mellom emneansvarlig, studenttillitsvalgt og studentene. Formålet er tilbakemelding fra studentene for endringer og justering i emnet inneværende semester.I tillegg skal det gjennomføres en digital emneevaluering minimum hvert tredje år. Den har som formål å innhente studentenes erfaringer med emnet.
