This specialization course emphasizes the kindergarten teacher's leadership responsibility towards staff as well as the co-responsibility the kindergarten teacher has for leading the kindergarten as an organization. Through the specialization, the students will acquire broad and relevant knowledge about leadership and management, organizational forms and development and change work in kindergartens. The subject provides insight into changes in the kindergarten's organizational structure and management. The students also gain increased insight into government documents that regulate the kindergarten's activities. Furthermore, the subject includes practical-methodical work with different themes. The course provides a good basis for further master's studies at UiS or other universities and colleges.
