Linear Algebra, power series, Taylor series, Fourier series, functions of multiple variables. Mathematical software (Python).
Learning outcome
The student should:
- know basic concepts of elementary linear algebra; be able to handle systems of linear equations and solve eigenvalue problems;
- be able to analyse convergence/divergence of series; find the Taylor and Fourier series of a given simple function;
- have basic knowledge of multi-variable calculus.
- know how to use the computer software program Python to solve elementary problems in one- and multi-variable calculus.

Course assessment
There must be an early dialogue between the course supervisor, the student union representative and the students. The purpose is feedback from the students for changes and adjustments in the course for the current semester.In addition, a digital course evaluation must be carried out at least every three years. Its purpose is to gather the students experiences with the course.
