Learning outcome
- know basic concepts of elementary linear algebra; be able to handle systems of linear equations and solve eigenvalue problems;
- be able to analyse convergence/divergence of series; find the Taylor and Fourier series of a given simple function;
- have basic knowledge of multi-variable calculus.
- know how to use the computer software program MAPLE to solve elementary problems in one- and multi-variable calculus.
