The course covers advanced knowledge within different specializations in civil and structural engineering. The course consists of self studying of advanced theories, principles, and practices within the selected areas in civil and structural engineering . In addition, carrying out critical reviews of selected topics for further understanding and use of knowledge as below:
- Concrete structures and technology
- Steel structures
- Timber structures
Learning outcome
Understanding of fundamentals and practices related to concrete structures and technology, steel structures and timber structures in deeply. It is expected that the students will develop skills for critically applying theories, methodologies, and knowledge to address fundamental questions and to demonstrate knowledge of recent scientific advances within a specific field of civil and structural engineering research.

Student presentations and project works. Project works are submitted in a scientific article format and graded.
