The student follows a study scheme at a visiting institution, either by entering an existing program or that the institution facilitating a scheme specifically for the individual student(s). It is also possible that UiS students who travel abroad can construct the content of a stay abroad that is not based on existing institutional cooperation. This arrangement must be approved by the department management and funded by the individual student.
Individual work depending on the program at the host institution / own application. Incoming students are assigned a supervisor at UiS, who follows up the work during their stay abroad. It is desirable that students from UiS who travel to another institution are assigned a supervisor from their new institution.
