Data- and Information Management (BDS210)
This course has a focus on information as a strategic resource, and it provides insight into how to obtain, structure, share, utilize and protect information The students will be introduced to the fundamentals of data, information, knowledge and insight, and the relationships between them. They will learn how to govern information and be introduced to concepts of "data management", "information management", "knowledge management", and "business intelligence". They will also learn about data and information security, and GDPR. All of this will be put into a service management context.

Compusory exercises
Participation in peer discussions that will be moderated by course facilitators, and solidify concepts via case studies, assignments, and quizzes. Complete a capstone project at the end of the course that will address you to a real-world challenge.

There must be an early dialogue between the course supervisor, the student union representative and the students. The purpose is feedback from the students for changes and adjustments in the course for the current semester.In addition, a digital subject evaluation must be carried out at least every three years.
