Content
The course explores topics at the advanced level in urban development, planning and design. The student must be able to identify relevant research literature and reserach approaches that are at the forefront of his/her PhD topic. Based on an in-depth discussion of the literature, the candidate must develop a Research manuscript describing literature reviews, gaps of knowledge, original approaches to advance the research field, methodological advances or other topics that form premises for students Research questions and the conduct of his/her PhD Project.
Learning outcome
After completed the course, the student should have sufficiently detailed knowledge of his/her Research topic to be at the research front within the field and should be able to perform thorough research and development within the specific topic. The student must be able to develop and answer relevant Research questions and discuss relating methodological and Research approaches.
