The course covers important human, technological, organizational (HTO), and work related aspects that affect reliability, safety, and security of Complex engineering systems in modern industrial contexts. Gives knowledge on how Human, Technology, Organization, and Work related matters influence Complex industrial systems, what issues need due consideration in changing industrial contexts, what measures can be taken for productive, reliable, safe, and digitally secure operations, and how can one avoid unwanted situations.

Important human, technological, organizational (HTO), and work related aspects that affect design, utilization, and operations of complex technical systems in modern industrial contexts from reliability, safety and digital security point of view. Understanding and knowledge about issues that need due consideration in changing industrial contexts, various measures to improve safety, security, reliability, and productivity and to reduce unwanted situations and incidents.

There must be an early dialogue between the course supervisor, the student union representative and the students. The purpose is feedback from the students for changes and adjustments in the course for the current semester.In addition, a digital subject evaluation must be carried out at least every three years.
