This is a fully digital course. It provides an introduction to offshore wind energy covering engineering and non-engineering aspects both from academic and practical view points. The course is designed broadly such that who have interests on offshore wind energy, regardless of the educational and professional background, will benefit from the content of the course by widening their understanding and knowledge about this industry through better insights from practical multidisciplinary themes.
The main learning content of this course is designed through specific modules covering target areas with practical importance for the modern Offshore wind energy sector, for instance; energy transformation, offshore wind energy projects, engineering, operations, economics, and legal aspects. In addition to academic lectures given by subject matter experts, the course content is further enriched through an interesting series of PodCasts, Interviews, Video demonstrations, etc. made with industrial experts and organizations to give students an interesting learning experience.

Obligatory presentation is based on brief individual reflections. The presentation can be recorded and submitted digitally. There will be no physical or online presentations.
Obligatory requirements must be approved by responsible lecturer within the given deadline.
