Content

The course aims to help students develop their understanding of sustainability thinking in education and its role in societal development towards more sustainable futures. It emphasises the normative and value-based challenges of educational approaches to sustainable development. The course introduces the interconnectedness of the Earth's systems, both locally and globally, in relation to socio-economic structures. Sustainability challenges and the role of education in sustainable practices will be explored.
