Course
Electronics (ELE140)
The course provides an introduction to analog and digital electronics. For analog electronics, the dynamic behavior of electrical circuits is examined using transient analysis and frequency response. Understanding and using amplifiers and power transistors in practice is also central. For digital electronics, the course looks at how transistors are used to create more complex logical functions, ultimately resulting in an overarching structure for a microcontroller. Programming a microcontroller using the language C is used to explore this structure in practice.

Vilkår for å gå opp til eksamen/vurdering
Compulsory laboratory exercises:8 Compulsory hand-in assignments: 6 out of 10.
Completion of mandatory lab assignments are to be made at the times and in the groups that are assigned and published. Absence due to illness or for other reasons must be communicated as soon as possible to the laboratory personnel. One cannot expect that provisions for completion of the lab assignments at other times are made unless prior arrangements with the laboratory personnel have been agreed upon.
Failure to complete the assignments on time or not having them approved will result in barring from taking the exam of the course.
