Course
Human-Technology-Operations-Organization, Industrial Vulnerabilities, and Resilience (IAM570)
The course covers practical human factors, engineering and technological conditions, ICT-dependent work and operational issues, and modern organizational aspects that expose complex industrial contexts, systems, and processes to vulnerable conditions, as well as necessary measures to enhance their integrity and resilience. The course is based on many real world examples, unwanted events and incidents, and accidents from various industrial sectors to exemplify important issues to consider during development and operations of modern complex and dynamic industrial contexts, systems, and processes from reliability, safety, and digital security perspectives. The course has a practical relevance for a range of industrial sectors, where the understanding and knowledge about the interplay between Human-Technology-Operations-Organization is quite sensitive for mitigating unwanted situations and for strengthening resilience.
