The one-year study in history covers the main features of Norwegian and European history from antiquity to our time. The study covers development, change and the connection between historical development in Norway and impulses from the outside world.
The one-year study will help the students to achieve a critical attitude and distance to history and present time, and thereby provide understanding of the special features of history as subject. The students will also be trained in analyzing, evaluating, and presenting historical sources and expositions.
