Method of work

The student follows a program of study at a visiting institution, either by entering an existing program or following an individually tailored program. The Learning Agreement may also include individual work depending on the program at the host institution / own application.

It is also possible for UiS students who travel abroad to construct the content of a stay abroad that is not based on an existing institutional cooperation. Such an arrangement must be approved by the department management and funded by the individual student.

Incoming exchange students are assigned a supervisor at UiS, who follows up the work during their stay abroad. It is desirable that students from UiS who travel to another institution are assigned a supervisor at the host institution.
