Content

Introduction to mathematical modeling and simulation, state-space analysis, block diagram, transferfunction, frequency response, stability, standard controllers (P, PI, PID), feedback.

Learning outcome

  • To understand the consept of mathematical modelling and simulation.
  • The student shall understand the consept of negative feedback
  • To organize models as state space models and to perform linearization
  • To present mathematical models as block diagrams
  • To find transfer functions and og utføre frekvensresponsanalyse av modeller.
  • To investigate stability issues and calibrate standard regulators (P, PI, PID).
  • After this course, the student shall understand the concept of system and control theory.
