When the student is not teaching his or her own lessons, (s)he is expected to work with the teachers, assisting small groups or individual children. During the placement the student is also expected to contribute to the life of the school in general.
The students will get supervision. There will be arranged seminars at the University College in which they can reflect and analyse their learning experiences in the classroom/nursery. These seminars, lead by a tutor, also prepare students for writing the final assignment. This assignment can be a research report / a personal memoir of teaching experiences / or article.
