Learning outcome
After having completed the course the student should be able to:
- understand the language of anatomy
- understand the structure and function of cells and tissues
- state the principles of homeostasis within and between tissues, organs and the bodyfunctions
- understand the importance of blood
- know the structure and function of the heart and ciculatory system
- know the principles of immunology and temperature-regulation of the human body
- give a description of the human nervous system and special senses
- understand the priciples concerning
- know the principles of endocrinology
- have an understanding of the principles concerning digestion, nutrition and the urinary system
- know the structure and function of bones, joints, skeletal and musculary system
- give a description of the human organs
After having completed the course successfully, the student will have knowledge that can be applied in further biomedical studies and research projects.
